Yes - most discount codes come with an expiry date or a re-verification requirement. Here’s what you need to know:
Group discounts (Students, Healthcare, Key Workers, Teachers, Seniors, Disability)
These codes are usually long-term, but GoCertify may ask you to re-verify your eligibility every 6–12 months.
Once re-verified, you’ll be issued a new active code.
If your code has expired, simply go back to the relevant discount page and re-verify your status.
Promotional codes (seasonal offers, sales, newsletter sign-up codes, limited-time promotions)
These almost always have a set expiry date (e.g. valid until 11:59 pm GMT on a specific day).
Details of the validity period will be clearly communicated on the offer page, email, or campaign.
Once expired, these codes cannot be reactivated.
One-off personal discount codes
Sometimes, you may be issued a personal code (e.g. as part of a goodwill gesture or customer service resolution).
These are usually single-use.
Subscription discounts
Subscription savings (10% off every delivery) are ongoing and do not expire while your subscription is active.
However, discount codes cannot be applied on top of subscription orders.
How to check if a code is still valid
If a code has expired, you’ll see an error message at checkout saying the code is invalid or no longer active.
To avoid missing out, always check the terms and conditions on the email, campaign, or discount page where you received the code.
