What if my discount code isn’t working?

If your discount code isn’t applying at checkout, don’t worry — here are the most common reasons and how to fix them:

1. Expired Code

   • Many promotional codes (e.g. seasonal sales, email offers) have a set expiry date.

   • If the code has expired, it won’t apply. Always double-check the offer terms.

2. Eligibility Verification Required

   • For group discounts (students, healthcare workers, teachers, seniors, disability, key workers), you’ll need to verify your eligibility via GoCertify.

   • If your verification has lapsed (e.g. after 6–12 months), you may need to re-verify to generate a new active code.

3. Code Already Used

   • Some codes are single-use only. If you’ve used the code on a past order, it won’t work again unless specified otherwise.

4. Minimum Spend Not Met

   • Certain promotions require a minimum basket value (e.g. £20 minimum spend). If your basket doesn’t meet the threshold, the discount won’t apply.

5. Product Exclusions

   • Some codes can’t be applied to specific products or collections (e.g. bundles, subscriptions, gift cards, or sale items).

   • Always check the terms on the campaign page.

6. Subscriptions

   • Subscription orders already include 10% off — additional discount codes cannot be stacked on top of this saving.

7. Incorrect Entry

   • Codes are case-sensitive - make sure you’ve entered it exactly as shown (no extra spaces or missing characters).

   • We recommend copy-pasting the code directly.

8. One Code Per Order

   • Only one discount code can be used per order. If you’ve already applied another code (e.g. free shipping or a promotion), the system won’t let you add a second.

9. Region Restrictions

   • Some codes are valid only in specific countries. If you’re ordering from outside the UK, the discount may not apply.

10. Technical Glitch

• If none of the above apply, it could be a temporary checkout error. Try:

  • Refreshing the page

  • Clearing your browser cache

  • Using a different device or browser
